Maritime & Industry Events.

Participation in maritime and industry events provides PPA with a platform to showcase its infrastructure, services and investment opportunities. Such events also facilitate interaction with shipping companies, cargo owners, investors, logistics providers and other stakeholders.

PPA’s participation in major maritime events is also used to develop partnerships and promote new business opportunities. These engagements support wider trade promotion and help connect the Port with national and international maritime stakeholders.

2
Customer Engagement

Customer engagement is an important component of PPA’s business-development activities. The Port works with existing and prospective customers to understand their cargo-handling requirements and facilitate the effective utilisation of port facilities and services.

Long-term relationships with customers, port users and other maritime stakeholders are also encouraged to support sustained cargo growth. Such engagement helps PPA identify new business opportunities and develop solutions suited to the requirements of its customers.

3
Trade Promotion.

PPA undertakes business-development and trade-promotion activities to maintain relationships with existing customers and attract new business to the Port. The Port’s Business Development & Trade Promotion function specifically covers promotional programmes, marketing strategies and activities aimed at achieving the Port’s corporate objectives.

Trade promotion also involves engagement with shippers, exporters, importers, shipping lines, logistics companies and other stakeholders. Participation in industry events, conferences and maritime forums provides opportunities to showcase Paradip’s facilities and develop new business relationships.
